"Not knowing all the details of Alzheimer's and dementia is very wearing for anyone."

It was a long process to make the decision about how to care for my parents. My wife and I were worried about them alone in their home and worried about placing them somewhere they didn't belong.

We went through weeks of preparation for the initial move-in day. Sydney Creek helped us understand that this was the right decision at the right time. It was mandatory that they do an assessment, so they came out to the house, which helped knowing what to look for. They would come out and assess the situation, and then get you back in, and give you some feedback on how they felt, and if it is in fact the right place to put your loved ones because sometimes it isn't. And it was, so we're very very happy about that. To this day, we're very pleased. After a year of them being here.
